The 100 men vs 1 Gorilla debate has taken over the internet for a week now and one of the greatest UFC fighters of all time has had his say.
This coming Saturday, the UFC returns to Montreal for UFC 315 headlined by a welterweight title fight between Belal Muhammad and Jack Della Maddalena.
One of the greatest fighters of all time and the best fighter to fight out of Canada, Georges St-Pierre will be in attendance for the event as he is scheduled to corner his protege, Aiemann Zahabi, who takes on Jose Aldo.
St-Pierre himself has teased a potential comeback to combat sports, stating that he would be 100% down for a comeback to compete in grappling.
Over the last week, a viral debate has taken over the internet as people have been arguing about whether 100 men could take on 1 Silverback Gorilla.
Most people that have been debating the topic aren’t versed in combat like St-Pierre is, and now, the UFC legend has offered his opinion on the viral topic.
“Let me give you my take on the famous debate that goes on, online on who would win in a fight between a Silverback Gorilla and 100 men,” St-Pierre began in a video posted on his X.
“I think it would be 100 men, if they are smart enough to go all at once and rush together. Of course there will be casualties but there you go, you have it from a so called expert,” the former welterweight champion continued.
100 men vs 1 🦍 ????
I would take 100 men to win.

It’s fair to say that if the debate was ever insanely put to the test, St-Pierre would be a figure that you would want included in the 100 men, as one of his best attributes as a fighter was his unique fight IQ.
With the topic being so widely debated, fans have offered their reaction to GSP’s tactic and explanation on how 100 men could beat a Gorilla.
“They could lay and pray and it would exhaust under the mass. Sound familiar?” one fan reacted.
“100 men very easily. If they are smart about it non will get seriously injured,” another fan commented.
“Gorilla wins. There’s only room for a handful of attackers at once,” a third fan counter argued.
I don’t know a gorilla will bite and tear flesh and muscles right off the bone humans aren’t capable of doing that kind of damage plus we have a sense of humanity that gorillas don’t.
