Vince McMahon reportedly in talks with FOX for new wrestling promotion - wrestling-world.com

Speculates that Vince McMahon is teaming with FOX Networks in forming a new wrestling company in his role as former Chairman and Chief Executive at WWE. Rumors ran amok with Vince McMahon making a TV appearance at Super Bowl LIX on FOX. Insiders familiar with him told that Conrad Thompson on the “83 Weeks” podcast that agents have already made overtures with production veterans in wrestling because FOX might have space in its schedule with its new project in wrestling.
Official sources have disputed those claims that went around regarding these comments. A spokesperson from FOX through Andrew Marchand at The Athletic disputed assertions that they worked on a project with Vince McMahon because FOX does not collaborate with McMahon on a new pro wrestling promotion.
From those familiar with McMahon, he is not in the process of starting a new pro wrestling promotion. In a report from Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, he is planning on starting a new entertainment company that will not compete with WWE nor create pro wrestling content.
The media suggests MacMahon is currently building an “entertainment hub company” dedicated to developing film and television content and acquiring funding to support it in October 2024. The entertainment hub company is guided by Brad Blum who served as WWE COO alongside Kristen Prouty who previously worked as Senior Vice President of Entertainment Relations at WWE. McMahon stays a prominent stockholder of TKO Group Holdings which owns WWE despite leaving WWE in January 2024 because of legal issues.
Wrestling fans circulated more return rumors for him after his public Super Bowl appearance which followed multiple wrestling podcast discussions. The co-hosts of the “83 Weeks” podcast Thompson and Bischoff showed doubt toward these reports. McMahon’s attendance at the sporting event together with his meetings with wrestling personnel might cause speculation but no solid proof exists that he plans to start a new wrestling league.
Despite beginning a new entertainment business for television and movie production Vince McMahon is not collaborating with FOX for a new wrestling promotion according to all available evidence. Fox and sources within Vince McMahon’s circle have officially denied the speculations by stating that his attention has shifted away from professional wrestling enterprises.
